ACCE assists chamber boards and search committees with the critically important task of finding and hiring a new CEO. Services related to CEO searches are provided as part of your membership investment in ACCE:

• Conference calls for search committees or executive officers with the ACCE President and senior staff to discuss process, organizational readiness, qualifications, industry trends and protocols
• Sample job descriptions for similar size & type organizations
• Advertising and job posting recommendations/drafting
• "Short-list" recommendation of qualified candidates from within the chamber world
• Advice about whether and how to select executive recruitment consultant and/or search firm (services of a search firm require additional expense)
• Discussion of salary ranges for chambers of various sizes
• JobWatch posting on ACCE and NationJob websites (free for Chairman's Circle Members, modest fee for others)

ACCE also works closely with a number of search consultants who specialize in chamber and regional non-profit recruitment/searches. Two such search firms, Waverly Partners and Jorgenson & Associates, have become preferred providers to ACCE and its members. A fee applies and is negotiated between the consulting search firm and the individual chamber.

Senior executive coaching is available on a consulting basis to help new and transitioning chamber leaders to establish themselves in their new organizations and communities. This coaching and counsel is provided by preferred provider Carroll Gray, CCE, of CG Associates.Mr. Gray was the CEO of one of the strongest chambers in the nation for more than 25 years. Coaching and counsel are available from Mr. Gray on a one-time or longer-term basis, focused on single management challenges or general support.
