ACCE Announces Staff Promotion
Alexandria, VA -
ACCE is pleased to announce that Tamara Philbin has been promoted to chief operating officer. Previously, she was ACCE's senior vice president (benefits division).
"Since I am often on the road focusing on our members and cultivating new partners, I need someone who can share responsiblities across all teams and areas -- someone who can keep all of the pieces of the puzzle working well together. Tamara is that person. With her many years' experience here at ACCE, her proven leadership skills, and her dedication and ability to get the job done well, this promotion is most deserved," said ACCE President, Mick Fleming.
As part of her new role at ACCE, Tamara will oversee the member experience, specifically identifying problems, and working to resolve them.
Tamara joined ACCE in 1983, and during her tenure she has held several management roles in areas across the organization, including: human resource, technology, accounting, membership, networking, and information/research. Most recently, as senior vice president, Tamara has been focused on the ACCE Benefits Team and has played a pivotal role in the recent transition of ACCE's retirement plans to the Principal Financial Group.
