2007-08 Chamber Operations Survey: Online Results Report To Be Available in May

ACCE announces that the 2007-08 Chamber Operations Survey Online Results Report will be available, at no charge, to ACCE members who participated in this year's survey on Friday, May 2. Non-participants will be able to purchase the on-line report on Friday, May 9.
The annual ACCE Chamber Operations Survey builds on over a decade of collecting data from and about chambers of commerce. Financial, membership and staffing statistics have been calculated from over 320 chambers' 2007 program year data.
According to Lisa Sohn, ACCE's Director of Research and Technology, "The chamber member participation rate in the 2007-08 Chamber Operations Survey is 26%, which is significantly higher from last year. This is the highest response rate we have had since the survey has been available for all chambers to participate."
The data from this survey is also used to qualify applicants in the Chamber of the Year award. Those chambers that have met or exceeded four of the seven criteria points for their dues category will be invited in the coming weeks to complete the application for the Chamber of the Year award.

ACCE's Annual Operations Survey takes place between January and March of each year and provides chambers with data they can use to establish comparisons and benchmarks with similar chambers of commerce and identifies the qualifiers for the Chamber of the Year Award program, which recognizes chambers for their efforts in Leading Businesses and Leading Communities™.
